My mom has been having a menstrual cycle for more than two months which is no longer normal. She was scheduled for a minor operation to scrape her womb lining because the doctor thinks that there’s something in there that causes too much bleeding. After the minor operation, I’m planning to take my mom to a Spanish immersion Costa Rica holiday. I hope that this vacation will help my mom relax a bit. According to the doctor, it is completely safe for my mom to travel after a couple of days from the operation.

Anyway, according to the doctor, that said operation is called dilatation and curettage. She will just be admitted in the hospital in the morning and she can already go home within 18 hours. However, this operation is not final as the doctor still wants to examine the sample that they will get from my mother. They will send it to undergo a biopsy test and then they will evaluate on what’s the next thing to do. I know my mom can overcome this because she is a woman of courage and a born fighter.
